At the top!! We passed around a water bottle and kept hydrated so only felt minor effects of the high altitude...they only allow you to stay at the top for 30 minutes or so because of this.
The 'little engine' that got us there :)
Did you know that Katharine Lee Bates was inspired and wrote the lyrics to "America the Beautiful" after enjoying the view on Pike's Peak?( I didn't!)
On the way back down we switched seats and I enjoyed the view :)
The Lord gave us a beautifully clear day :)
